    * Platoon numbers are a rough guide only. Each Platoon ideally consists of a minimum of 1 Officer, 1 SNCO, 4-6 NCO’s and 12-18 Enlisted Members. Platoons are standing, with the Platoon leader and NCO’s responsible for their assigned subordinates, however Platoons may be required to merge together during Tac Nights depending on the turnout and scenario. Enlisted Members report directly to their Platoon’s NCO’s, who report to their assigned Platoon Leader/SNCO.

When membership reaches the minimum required number for activation of a subsequent Platoon, members are assigned from the previous Platoon, and Enlisted Members are promoted to fill their roles. Preference for Platoon Leader of the subsequent Platoon should be given to the previous Platoon’s SNCO. A sufficient number of experienced NCO’s should be assigned to the newly formed Platoon to ensure a balance of experience and support for the newly promoted Platoon Leader.
